Our Story (a little history always helps) My father was a gardner in the town I grew up in. "What time do you get out of school?" "Three o'clock" "Then meet me on Neptune Avenue, Ride your bike on over." And that was a beginning I will never forget. On given days I was required to show up at wherever my father's route of homes he was working on. I remember his Trimmer reel mower and my love of mowing lawns leaving horizontal patterns in perfect lines. Roses, Camellias and Fuchsias were an item I could be balled out for if I didn't give them the proper care. Learning to repair irrigation heads made of galvanized steel was the biggest trick I had to learn. Sprinkler systems in a yard were a rare thing back then. And for the next twenty years I helped my father and eventually took on his key clients and began my own gardening route. Beginnings for all of us are important to ponder. Progress made since then do amaze me. I am thankful that I still want to continue to learn new things some nearly thirty years later.
